US ARMY, VIETNAM, 1970-71
Bill VanAtta was born in January,1945, making him 73 years old.
This Findlay native served in the US Army in Vietnam during the years of 1970-71. He was assigned to the 3rd platoon, 12B20, Combat Engineer. This is all the information he will share with his family. He still suffers from nightmares and anxiety relating to his time in Vietnam. His health is declining due to Agent Orange exposure, like so many soldiers.
Bill has two sons, Sam and Eddie and two daughters, Kristina and Kelly. He worked for a while at Hyway Concrete after the service. However, Bill has spent much of his life disabled and not working due to the irritation of Agent Orange contact on his skin.
He lives to watch his grandchildren play their sports. Bill is also an avid Cleveland Browns and Indians fan.
He deserves any love, support and prayers readers may be able to offer.
